Here's the 2010 FlyerThe Creative Metal Arts Guild (CMAG) is pleased to announce the 2010 Jewelry and Metal Arts Show and Sale taking place on Friday, April 30th to Sunday, May 2nd (10 am - 9 pm Fri. & Sat.; 10 am - 5 pm Sun.) at the Oregon Convention Center. Portlanders will have the opportunity to view work from 45 of the Pacific Northwest’s finest jewelry designers and sculpture artists at this 21th annual event. The Jewelry and Metal Arts Show and Sale will be held in conjunction with simultaneous exhibits by the Oregon Potters Association, the Oregon Glass Guild, the Oregon Hand Weavers Guild, NW Fine Woodworkers, Guild of Oregon Woodworkers and the Portland Bead Society. |

Meet the ArtistsLast year, approximately 10,000 people attended this special exhibit and this year CMAG expects the same, if not a larger crowd. Artists at the Jewelry and Metal Arts Show and Sale will offer a stunning range of mediums, including gold, platinum, silver, copper, brass, steel, bronze, gemstones, enamel and glass. All artwork is handmade by the individual artist and either one of a kind or limited production. Techniques such as casting, fabrication and forging, among others, will give each piece its own unique look. |

CMAG Supports the CommunityThis is the eighth year CMAG will design and sell playful charm necklaces in support of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Kids) – raising approximately $15,000 for the organization so far. MORE information and pictures. |
