Sterling Hollowform Coast Pendant with Agate	Diane A. Archer Diane is an artist currently living and working on the Oregon Coast. She was born and spent most of her life in Ohio, where she received a BFA from The University of Akron, and an MFA from Kent State University. A residency at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology brought Diane to Oregon in 1999. After four months of living on the coast at the Sitka Center, she decided to make Oregon her home. Diane enjoys combining many different materials and techniques in both her jewelry and mixed media assemblages. Her jewelry is fabricated mainly from sterling silver and bronze, using soldering and hollow-forming techniques. The metal surfaces are textured using a variety of methods. Her most recent jewelry combines photoetched-metal topographical maps with found objects. Diane makes limited edition jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces as well as several production lines. She especially enjoys working with clients to create pieces that commemorate particular places, people, or events.
