The have worked full-time in their studio since 1969 doing many commissioned jewelry pieces. Joe also makes special-order ecclesiastical holloware. Materials they use range from platinum, gold and silver to steel, iron and meteorite. They both use lapidary skills with Joe recently doing stone faceting. Inquiries about custom-made jewelry or holloware are welcomed. Four galleries, all in Oregon, represent their jewelry: The Real Mother Goose and the Hoffman Gallery at Oregon School of Arts and Crafts in Portland, The Lawrence Gallery in Sheridan, and Riversea Gallery in Astoria. Joe is represented in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of Contemporary Crafts (N.Y.,N.Y.) and in the National Collection of Fine Arts, Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian ( Washington D.C.).
