Program

"WORKING WITH 950 PALLADIUM:"
ITS CHARACTERISTICS FOR FABRICATING, CASTING & MARKETING.
950 Palladium, one of the rare platinum group metals, has all indications of becoming the latest metal trend in fine jewelry.

We will have a multimedia presentation about how you, as a designer/bench jeweler can work with Palladium. TechForm will provide a powerpoint presentation that gives background information and discusses its casting characteristics. Bruce McKay will discuss the ins and outs of fabricating with it. For those attending there will be useful handouts including The Bench Guide.

CMAG Showcase

This exhibit is loaded up and set to kick off. Drop by the museum to take a look.

The CMAG Showcase at the Museum of Contemporary Craft is a month long exhibition of guild members work at the museum including four Saturday demonstrations. These ongoing showcases are part of MCC’s Guild Circle program. They are exhibition only and not sales but individual artists will be identified and their contact information available. The exhibit will be housed in a rather cavernous display case in the upstairs “Lab” which is also where the demos will be conducted. The demos run 1pm to 4pm. The dates of the exhibit are February 18 to March 16.
